Privacy policy
Effective: 2026-06-19
Short version: AtomicList works without an account and stores all your lists only on your device. We do not run ads, analytics or tracking. The only data that ever leaves your device is the purchase information for the optional one-time "Pro" unlock, handled by the app store and our billing provider RevenueCat.
1. What we store on your device
We persist the categories, items, item history, templates and your app settings on your device using the operating system's standard key-value storage. This content never leaves your device.
2. What we do not do
- No accounts, no sign-in.
- No analytics, telemetry or crash reports.
- No advertising, no advertising IDs, no cross-app tracking.
- No automatic cloud backup: AtomicList disables Android Auto-Backup so your lists never end up in a third-party cloud unless you explicitly share them.
3. In-app purchase ("Pro")
AtomicList offers a single optional one-time purchase that unlocks the Pro features. If — and only if — you make this purchase, the transaction is processed by the app store (Apple App Store / Google Play) together with our billing provider RevenueCat, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. For that purchase we process:
- Purchase history — the fact and receipt of your Pro purchase, so the app can unlock Pro and restore it on a new device.
- An app-specific identifier (and your IP address) — to attribute the purchase and prevent fraud.
This data is encrypted in transit, used only to provide and restore your purchase, and is never used for advertising or sold to anyone.
4. What you can share
When you use "Share" or "Share data export", AtomicList hands a piece of text to your operating system's share sheet. Where it goes from there (Messages, Mail, …) is up to you and the receiving app.
5. Permissions
AtomicList only requests the notifications permission (when you enable reminders) and the microphone permission (only when you tap the Pro voice-input button). It does not request location, camera, contacts or any other runtime permission.
6. Deleting your data
- On-device data (all your lists, items, templates and settings): open Settings → Data → Erase all data in the app. This removes everything immediately and permanently.
- Purchase data (held by RevenueCat): email [email protected] and we will delete the associated customer record — the purchase history and the app-specific identifier described in section 3. The app store may retain its own transaction records for legal and tax reasons.
7. Your rights (EU/GDPR)
Your list content stays on your device. For the limited purchase data described in section 3, RevenueCat acts as our processor; you can request access or deletion at any time via [email protected].
